The staff members were as helpful and friendly as ever. However, we did notice that the relaxing piano and harp music was missing from the reception area, along with the delightful scented candles that usually create a soothing atmosphere. This did alter the ambiance a bit, but that’s just our personal preference. My wife enjoyed a massage at Kasia Spa, where the staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Although we didn’t have a chance to utilize the pool or gym this time, it’s a great perk for hotel guests. We dined at the refurbished Nelsons Bar both nights. Pity there is no 0 star rating available. In the short words avoid at any cost. Book yourself a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge as a bare minimum but you will know what you are paying for. Noisy parties making impossible to sleep, complaints not dealt with. Customer service non existent. Overpriced faff. Location the venue itself beautiful. Only staff ruins the impression. Complaining customer is openly ignored. As for the accommodations, the rooms are of high quality and well-maintained. However, it's worth noting that you'll need a car to reach the location. The food and drinks are delightful and presented beautifully. Overall, I would rate the rooms a solid 5.
