While in Devon for a volleyball tournament, I decided to check out this restaurant based on its reviews. Upon arriving at 1:08 pm, just under an hour before it closed at 2, I found the place to be empty with dirty dishes on the tables. A lady emerged from the back, and after seeing the lack of items in the display case, I inquired about cinnamon buns. She informed me that they were out of them, as well as most other menu options. She suggested a turkey bunwich, but mentioned that the soup, pastries, and other items were also sold out. It was disappointing to see a popular spot with very little to offer, so my advice would be to arrive early or risk being disappointed.
This is easily my favourite eating establishment in town. They always have something new to try, but I always go for a cinnamon bun (they are to die for). They will do all kinds of specialty coffee/tea beverages that you simply cannot get anywhere else in town (they also taste great and are of high quality). If you have not been I would highly recommend you try it at least once(trust me you'll be back). Also, I dare you to find a boutique cafe in rural alberta with this much character. As long as this place is in business, they will have my business.
While visiting on a Saturday when they didn't have fresh soup and sandwiches, the food was still fantastic! We tried the dill pickle soup, which is now my favorite type of soup, and a delicious roast beef sandwich. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant added to our overall enjoyment of the experience. The only downside was the limited hours of operation.
My husband and I love this place! We will go out of our way to visit here when we can. My husband is crazy for the cinnamon buns! I love that they have gluten free options. The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing and laid back. I would really recommend this place for anyone passing through Devon :) Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This place is ridiculously perfect every time. The baking is exceptional and the coffee is always fresh, unique and hot. I recently had lunch there as well, and the soup and sandwich was delicious. Good job grounded, I will be back.
Great coffee and excellent cinnamon buns if you come at the right time. The other treats are good too if you miss out on the CBs. The atmosphere makes it a great place to hang out with friends. Love the bicycle decor.
This is a great spot to grab some delicious cinnamon buns and a coffee in the morning. Definitely worth a visit. They also offer yogurt fruit cups that are worth the price.

Very good place for light breakfast with tea/coffee. Could probably expand their business by being open in the evening. Even just Fri. and Sat. night
