Grounds For Coffee

Here are the things we love: - Coffee (of course!) - Matcha latte (definitely try it with oat milk!) - Chai latte (it has a nice, spicy flavor) - Fruit muffins loaded with chunky pieces of fruit - Lemon muffins (vegan) - Breakfast wraps - And how could I forget the cinnamon buns? They are the café's specialty! There's also a loyalty program that you can join to earn points, and you can conveniently place your order directly through the app for pickup. Vegetarian options: There are several vegan and vegetarian dishes available. Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy milk options are offered for an additional charge.

This coffee shop is quite popular on Saturday afternoons, with around 20 tables, nearly all of which were occupied. Many customers were busy working on their laptops, and there were plenty of outlets available for charging electronic devices. The iced latte, however, had too much milk and not enough coffee for my taste. On the other hand, the cinnamon roll topped with frosting was delightful—large, warm, and quite sweet. Overall, it's a great neighborhood coffee shop, though street parking is the only option available.

Great matcha, friendly service and efficient. The biggest surprise me was how excellent the vegan cheese bun was--wow! So tasty--nice and soft, cheesey, and filling. I think it's the best vegan cheese bun I've ever had. When I'm back in Vancouver next time, this will be a stop, for sure! Also love the atmosphere--nice and open, with plenty of seating in and out, as well as great art features. If l still lived here, I'd probably come a lot :

Barista made our drink wrong and served drinks as if she were miserable (no eye contact, no thank you, just slammed the drink down). Cinnamon bun was decent, just get them to warm it up for you in the microwave and it’ll taste better. Drinks were wayyyy too overpriced for what you get. One of my favorite coffee shops in East Van. They serve excellent lattes with a variety of milk and alternative options, and their cinnamon buns are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and I really appreciate the beautiful artwork displayed by local artists. The café is clean, though it tends to be quite busy most of the time.

Went into the store after seeing the board which said “best cinnamon buns in the world” and we felt they were correct! Ordered for a mocha and a cinnamon bun and both of them were great. Seating inside is difficult to find and I think that speaks something about the store.Got a summer special strawberry topped cinnamon bun.

Pretty average coffee nothing special unfortunately. They do have macadamia nut milk which is nice! If you get a cinnamon bun make sure they grab you the fresh one! The seating of this cafe is nice and comfortable, good atmosphere however won’t be coming back for the coffee sadly.

Very disappointing and not fresh AT ALL! The cinnamon buns look great but they are VERY dry and stale! Bought 4 boxes totalling over $90 and gave some as gifts. Sadly by day 2, the buns are practically inedible and no amount of microwaving will soften them up. Will not return. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Got the Americano con Misto. Solid cup of coffee. Whatever muffin I ordered was a bit underwhelming but I think it was gluten free to be fair. Plenty of seating available including outdoor.

Always a good experience when I come here. Their drinks are amazing and so are their cinnamon buns! Would def recommend. Never have I ever had a bad experience
