We were watching our Colorado friend's son play guard for Macalester's football team on a sweltering day in the mid-nineties temp on the turf field. Six of us wanted to go out nearby, casual, with good food for a hungry footballer and something for all of the us. Groveland Tap has a really long list of craft beers on tap, and I don't mean just the usual suspects. We were a loud party, and the terrace was raucous with everyone enjoying watching a game and having a good time. The cheeseburger and fries were delicious, the water was good, the staff were very helpful and accommodating, the service was fast and friendly and the waiter kept checking up on us when it looked like we needed a refill. They even brought me a full bottle of ketchup when they saw me struggling with the bottle that was already at the table. Also the bathroom was pretty clean and nothing was broken. (Apparently a rare sight here in the cities lol)
Pleasant surroundings but the acoustics are a problem. Not enough attention was paid to buffering the noise when the place was remodeled. Even if you have hearing aids, you may not be able to hear well enough to enjoy the food, etc.

Lovely restaurant! A very chill atmosphere with GREAT burgers. A large variety on tap and I got a genuinely high quality burger and fries for only $9 with weekday the lunch special
Loved the old place,,,not so much the new. We will not be back because they now tack on a 3% fee and still expect you to tip.
