This historic place in Switzerland is worth a stop. . The meadow (the Swiss flag flies here on the site where the Confederation was founded with 3 stone benches and 3 beautiful trees is a great photo opportunity. Getting there isn't all that great. There are only 2 ways: 1. Hiking trails from Seelisberg (over 1 hour with a lot of elevation gain 2. Arrival by ferry from Brunnen (1x per hour, price per adult approx. Probably the most Swiss place in Switzerland! The landscape is a pure postcard idyll. When I visited, everything was closed and I was there alone. It's been so quiet and quiet here that I felt like I could hear my thoughts. Only the walk several hundred meters down took a very long time (I walked from Seelisberg to Rütli).
