We absolutely LOVE Grumpy's!! We've visited many times! We have a seasonal camper nearby and make several trips each season just for the ice cream. Grumpy is friendly and welcoming, and he's very dog-friendly as well—he always has a fresh bowl of water out for them. It's delightful to go there at night, grab a cone, and stroll down the street to the boat dock.
The staff at this restaurant were incredibly accommodating! They informed us about the option to mix and match our soda in 4 or 6 pack selections. We also had the pleasure of trying as many popcorn samples as we wished, and there were some really unique and delicious flavors! The standout favorites were the pizza and birthday cake popcorn!
Grumpy's name is deceiving. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Let us taste test a few kernels of this and that. Freshly popped and mixed daily. Caramel corn and cheese corn is delicious! We'll be back next time we're in Door County for sure!
Al (Grumpy) is friendlier than the place's nickname let's on. Great guy, great ice cream, great popcorn, great caramel corn, fudge, root beer, everything. Yes there's a lot of ice cream places in Northern Door, but you need to stop here. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Delicious! Thanks for having diet root beer available my wife enjoyed the ice cream and I enjoyed the popcorn... but can't have the regular pop. We enjoyed the Fish Creek Grumpy's, too.
The scoops were good, but the root beer floats were awesome! We came in with a big group and everyone enjoyed their selection! The fresh popcorn was a bonus :
A nice variety of cones with cedarcrest icecream, as well as popcorn and cotton candy. There is a nice garden seating area to enjoy your treats.
