Not easy to find, stick it in google maps and eat there, it’s worth it. We’ve been walking this week in la Cañada la Orotava and been to eat lunch here twice as it’s close to where we were staying. The staff are so friendly and the dishes on offer are homemade and typically Canarian. The ropa vieja a beef, potatoes and chick pea stew is steaming hot and satisfying, as is the carne de Cabra goat stew that comes slathered in hot homemade chips huevos al estampido fried eggs, chips, chorizo and paprika , champiñones Almagrote lightly breaded mushrooms stuffed with cheese from la gomera are but a few that we tried, we were not disappointed.
