The food was good and prices very attractive. Unfortunately the service was not very friendly and looked annoyed when having to explain us the menu that was written in spanish. She never looked to us to check if everything was okay, which is why we had to get the dressing for our salad ourselves for example. Same thing as we wanted to pay. In the toilet there was no soap and even after saying it they didn't refill it. Don't think this is hygenic especially in Covid-times! All in all the food was good, but I wouldn't recommend the service there..
This was our first of many guachinche experiences and to be honest nothing has quite matched up to it since. Really simple setting, no nonsense, delicious food. Queso Asado and the Garbanzas were particular highlights for us. We found the portions really very generous and actually ended up with too much food and had to take some home. If you're ordering 4 or 5 things usually a half portion of each is fine for a couple and full portions could easily feed a family of four.
We tried several dishes, such as “Lapas”, “gambas al ajilla”, “queso asado”, “crujientes rellenos” and “champinones rellenos”. We loved it, our favouritrwas the crujientes rellenos, which has inside cheese, has a perfect chrunchiness and the served jam is amazing with it. This was out first guachinche experience and we liked it. The hostess was nice, the place was clean and had a good atmosphere. Only local people were here when we had dinner. Highly recommended.
