Guevara's - Tisch reservieren

Along with Clementine and Izzy Rose, Guevara’s completes the trifecta of vegan establishments all within a stone’s throw of each other in this Clinton Hill micro neighborhood. All three have a fully vegan menu, Instagram ready looks, and plenty of appealing outdoor seating (the latter being obviously critical in Covid times While Izzy rose is more of a bar with some food, and Clementine is more of a pastry and sandwich shop, Guevara’s is more of straight up coffee shop with some pastry and light food options. The gigantic guava donut topped with cream cheese is simply amazing. I'd like to go back to try some of their other unique donut flavors (such as hibiscus and dulce de leche). We also ate empanadas: one with egg and cheese, and the other with guava and cheese. The latte was on point too. Unfortunately, they don't use any real plates, cups, or cutlery, so everything is packed in cardboard boxes, even if you're eating in. Despite it all being biodegradable, it would still be better for the environment (and customers eating in) to use real cutlery, plates, cups, etc. Overall though, a cheery, bright café to enjoy your vegan breakfast. Menu was a little confusing so photos on here helped. Donuts were almost sold out by Sunday afternoon so get there early if you want donuts.

the vegan egg and cheese-ownada is so good, they also make a cocktail lesson today, but I would still go to breakfast and coffee
