I was in town for business and stumbled upon this restaurant near my hotel. We stopped in for a quick bite and were completely blown away. The owner took the time to talk to us, and it felt genuine, not just the usual small talk. His warmth and authenticity were truly remarkable.
I can't quite find the words to describe just how fantastic the stuffed flounder was. We travel along the coast frequently, and theirs might just have the best roux I've ever tasted. It was smoky, savory, perfectly spiced, and had just the right consistency—not too thick or too thin. The bacon-wrapped jalapeno shrimp have been haunting my food memories for nearly a week now.

The bounty balls, alligator bites, buffalo shackles, and crusted fish were fantastic, and we would definitely come back for those. However, the chewing gum tasted so burnt that we didn't even finish the two bowls we had on the table. That was just a minor issue, though, and it shouldn't overshadow our overall dining experience. The food would have been delicious if it hadn't been overcooked, as I doubt the burnt flavor was intentional.

We’d heard great things about their crawfish, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the spicy crawfish, and it had a nice kick on the outside with a good amount of flavor. We also tried the crawfish dip, which was quite good when paired with the fresh fried pork rinds, though the dip itself was a bit salty and thick. For our meal, we went with the po’boy and gumbo combo, but I probably wouldn’t order that again. The po’boy was just okay, the fries were neither crispy nor very flavorful, and the gumbo was average. Overall, it was a positive experience—the server was attentive, and most of what we had was enjoyable.

My daughter and I had a wonderful late lunch at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with grilled vegetables and rice, which was incredibly flavorful. My daughter chose the Boudain Balls basket, typically listed as an appetizer but substantial enough to be a meal on its own. The only downside was that they had run out of the fried zucchini appetizer we wanted to sample.
My favorite crawfish/seafood place ever!!!! You can tell they really care about their food and their service. The food is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. The people are amazing. The staff, the patrons, you really feel welcome here! Kinda like a cheers type place, where everyone knows your name. I absolutely love coming here and will continue to do so. I’m so glad we started coming!!!
We had a big sea fish dish, but unfortunately, we were somewhat neglected during our visit. We always had to ask for things, and our waiter wasn’t very attentive. Thankfully, an older gentleman kept checking on us repeatedly, which we really appreciated. We tipped him well, and both of us made sure to leave a tip.
I ordered the large chicken and sausage gumbo, but it turned out to be mostly broth with very little meat. I felt it was a waste of money. The Cajun fries were poorly seasoned, and the hushpuppies arrived cold alongside the burger.

I’m seriously impressed. I went based on a recommendation and didn’t expect much, but they totally exceeded my expectations. The crawfish were a great size, perfectly seasoned, and served really fast. I’ll definitely be returning.
Great food! I had the Catfish Plate (better be really hungry Bubba had the crawfish. I had to taste- best I've ever had!
