This place is possibly the grossest restaurant I have ever been in. We were seated at a table by the hostess and there was the previous peoples' food on the chairs, table and floor. I set aside the first set of silverware because they were dirty. The salt and pepper shakers look like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Even the menus were dirty. I decided to go into the unisex bathroom to use the facility and wash my hands before eating my breakfast. My shoes stuck to the floor from what appeared to be urine and there was fecal matter on the wall, under the toilet seat and on the toilet water tank next to the flush handle. This is feels like an old-school diner. Do not go here if you are looking for something fancy with ambience. It is a casual place and you can come as you are. There is really nothing esthetically pleasing about the appearance of this place. In fact, there are a variety of hand written signs on white boards and paper that display the specials. i ate at gunters a three times a few weeks ago when one of my relations was having surgery at the Kaiser down the street. this is definitely a locals place and its not hard to figure out why. the service is fast and friendly, the food is served hot and is good (nothing fancy). i think they make a great breakfast and the price is right which is why its so crowded. i'd go back in a flash.
First and last time. The staff was really nice, hence the three stars, but the coffee was terrible with individual cheap creamer and food was just edible. Not a lot of flavor and my huevos rancheros were covered with too much cheese.

This is a good place to go for breakfast but don't expect too much! The food tastes average, the bacon were not at all crispy, looks overcooked and gives just a few strips. Their hash is not really tasty.

I took my family here while in town and ordered the spaghetti with sausage. Wonderful portions and staff were very friendly. Kept our drinks filled. Good value for the food.
Long time area restaurant. Lots of free parking. Daily specials are great. Service is good. Will return
