Our first time at Gus’ was a treat, thanks to our server, Donna. She is a pro at recommendations, sharing her personal insights that made the “French Toast Fiesta” sound irresistible – and it was as huge and delicious as she promised! Donna was attentive, checking in frequently to make us feel cared for. She introduced herself and made sure we knew we could call on her anytime, which added a lovely personal touch. As new residents of NJ and having not been to a diner in over a year, Donna’s special welcome made our day. The food at Gus's Diner is delicious, and the service is excellent, thanks to Mary Ann, Donna, Catherine, Arturro, Linda, Jon, and the entire team. It's a wonderful spot for a meal, and I absolutely love their breakfasts. Their burgers, turkey, and tuna fish dishes are outstanding as well. Highly recommend this place!
We always feel special when we eat here. Our only complaint is that since I didn't eat home fries I substitute with sliced tomato. There is an upcharge for the tomato. I brought it to their attention but apparently it is what it is. I still love the place and the food and the service.

A true DINER! A little bit of everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner. All enjoyed their meals. Clean diner and courteous staff. Definitely will stop again when in the area.
They treat you like family here. I was pleasantly surprised by the kind nature of the waitress and the food was really really good. Get the French toast double dipped.
