Love this place. Seems to be better than it was the food was delicious. Our server was lovely not overly attentive. A little more checking in would have been okay. She was excellent when she was taking care of us. The food was DELICIOUS. It was loud which I don’t like I think the building needs to be insulated. But I understand this cannot be done. I think it’s great and lively. It’s just not my scene anymore. I will go back, for sure. I want to say the jibarito was amazing as were the tacos and the maduros con tocino was OMG are you joking?!! The mock tails were yummy. (I had 2, which I don’t normally have guava mint and lime.  We were so full, no dessert. We had the beets I think I was so...
Our drinks arrived after we received our first two dishes, despite us asking another server about them. When my drink finally came, the glass was only half full — and it turned out to be just half gin with no tonic. A bit too strong for my liking. The waitress apologized and brought me a "new" drink but took the "old" one away. Unfortunately, the new drink was all tonic, which I assume was intended to be added to the original half glass of gin that the waitress discarded. At that point, I threw in the towel. We finished our remaining three dishes and left. The food was good, but it’s clear you need to plan your orders carefully to ensure the drinks arrive first and the food isn’t served too...
Great food and impressive menu selection for vegetarians. Service was problematic. We had to wait for our orders and server forgot I ordered wine. My friend tried to order a dessert item that isn't currently on the menu. The server substituted an alcoholic beverage without trying to determine what my friend was trying to order. Everything else about the experience was very good.
I used to visit this place twice a month. Unfortunately, On May 2023, the chef/owner wasn’t there, food was not at outstanding as it normally was… I was disappointed and I stopped going there. Today, I wanted to give them a chance and it was really worthy! It was noticeable that chef/owner was back! Food was another level!!! You guys have your flavors back! Well done! The restaurant couldn’t find my reservation, which had been confirmed through Open Table. We were seated in a very noisy section, and when we requested to move to a quieter area, we were informed that those tables were reserved. Ultimately, we settled on the lovely patio, and the dinner was delicious, but I was disappointed with how we were treated at the beginning.
We sat outside, which was terrific on a beautiful night. The food  was very good, but too salty for my taste, so I won’t be going back; but my colleague had no problem with it at all. It was extremely busy, so the service was a little shaky, but the staff are superb people and they got a very good tip. 
We arrived *early* for our reservation at the bar. We were seated instead in the far reaches of the basement. No one engaged with us for 15 minutes or so until a black fly began buzzing our table. So we left. Will not return. Terrible experience.

Fantastic outdoor space for warm evening, yummy seasonal sangria and amazing food!
