GW Fins is the best food in the city. I mean top notch. Service is also the best that can be. Claude can not be praised enough and I wish I could leave two reviews. I wanted to surprise my partner with a fantastic bottle of champagne, Dom Perignon, which is his favorite. I saw the price online and was expecting to pay the $400.00 it was listed at. I was told it was no longer available and I was okay with this and selected another bottle. To my pleasant surprise, I was told there were three bottles left in house. If not for the melt in your mouth freshly baked warm scones that kept appearing on my bread plate throughout dinner, I might have waited a day to write my review. The attention to every detail was astounding, Our waiter, Zack, kindly helped design our menu; recommending the appetizers in the photo snapper ceviche, crispy pork bellys, and tuna rubin phenomenal!! GW Fins Scallibut, and blackened swordfish, with a remarkable side of peppers peaches and goat cheese rounded our magnificent experience. p s. I would have had dessert, but I couldn't manage for the scones I couldn't stop myself.
The food foremost, experience, and service from BOTH Zach’s was Exceptional! Top 5 meals we’ve ever had! Started with the amazing biscuits and whipped butter which my wife would have probably made a meal out of if I didn’t stop her, then went with Zach’s recommendation with the dry aged tuna Reuben which was incredible. Our dinners of the signature Scalibut and herb encrusted halibut, along with all the layers of flavor added by the accompaniments, were amazing! Then to finish it off with yet another recommendation, and seriously you MUST save room and get the Salty Malty!
The greatest seafood restaurant in NOLA. You'll have to make a pilgrimage here to try the succulent fishes only seen around here. My favorite was Cobia I ate a lot as a child but only tried it again after a long while after coming to GW fins. All the fish was cooked immaculately. We were seated in what seemed to be a smaller private room with 4 5 other tables so the setting was really cozy too. There was a dish that tiled thinly pieces of scallop on the fish it looked amazing....tasted even better..what seafood is all about in NOLA!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
One of the best meals/experiences ever! Everything was nearly perfect. Scallibut was delicious as was the assorted wedge salads. The biscuits melt in your mouth and they even shared their recipe with us. Our server Jason and his assistant were attentive and made our special occasion even better. I can’t wait until my next trip to New Orleans to come back and eat here again!
Incredible food, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, phenomenal experience. Everything was perfect. Shoutout to Kenneth who came to our table 3 times and even gave us a special treat to celebrate our anniversary. And he wasn’t even our server!
They say a picture is worth a 1000 words..... Does this say delicious?? Well, it was absolutely awesome. The waitstaff was very attentive and the drinks were great!! Can't wait to eat here again the next time I'm in New Orleans.
