I used to come to this place in my younger years, loved their Gyro’s their hot dogs. They use to have great food however, recently I passed by and got myself a Gyro. I know it’s been a while since I had one however, the meat texture was not the same not to talk about the price $10 for a Gyro. Wow. Back in the days they would give a smile while serving you the Gyro… nowadays, it seems like they’re just tired or that they been there way too long or that they just don’t give 2shits about their customers or the quality of their food. After a long day of work, I decided to visit a nearby restaurant called Gyro King. I ordered their delicious hot dog and it was amazing. The toppings were perfectly placed on the counter, creating a mouthwatering dish. I plan to come back after work for either a lamb gyro or another hot dog to fuel up for the day. I haven't been here in over 40yrs! Since I was a kid going to the school across the street p.s. 33- it was delicious then and nothing has changed! I live in chicago now and I cant wait a couple of months to bring my wife and son here to eat! U dont kno about fordham rd if u dont kno about gyro king! And I mean that!

The service and atmosphere were a bit disorganized, but that's a sign that the food is going to be excellent. You could see the food being made fresh, and these were definitely the best gyros I've ever tasted. This place is a must-visit for anyone in the area.
I ordered a lamb and chicken gyro which was absolutely delicious. The staff at the restaurant were also very friendly.
