I'm surprised by the low rating— it seems many are more focused on value than the quality of the food. Since I started working from home, I order from Gyro Village at least once a week, if not more. The staff are incredibly friendly, whether you're dining in, picking up, or having your order delivered. The spicy feta dip is fantastic, and I usually go for the grilled chicken, which is absolutely delicious. My kids aren’t fans of the Gyro my way, but they love their own choices.
Surprised by the low rating seems people are concerned more about the value than the food itself. I probably get food from here at least once a week if not more since I started to WFH. They?re the loveliest people whether you eat in, pick up or getdelivered. The spicy feta dip is amazing and I usually get the grilled chicken. So tasty. My kids like the gyro not my sort ofthing but they love it.
solid gyro options (the haloumi/vegetarian version is especially unique and well put together). Would only recommend eating here sparingly, not regularly due to moderately low value (overpriced for what it is) and seriously slow service even at off peakhours they underestimated pickup times consistently by 10+ minutes on at least 3 occasions in the last 3 months
Bomb food. I?ve only has the gyro double meat but that?s because it has me in a chokehold. Ive tried the kabobs but I didn?t like it. The fries a soggy but I love it?? it?s fresh and they make fries how they?re suppose to be made. Cut, washed, fried,salted. No preservatives or anything. Prices are steep, and both portion sizes and quality leave much to be desired. The service is consistently good, but with so many options nearby nowadays, it’s hard to justify. I still stick with their gyro for lunch, but their plates, salads, and other dishes are disappointing. (This was the smallest piece of feta I’ve ever seen in a Greek salad.)
I used to be a regular customer at Gyro Village, ordering from their menu frequently. However, today they not only forgot my salad but also significantly reduced the portion sizes. The Gyro chicken plate was only half the size it used to be. I would not recommend ordering from Gyro Village anymore.
Friendly neighborhood spot (realizing that it's a small chain in NY) Got the mixed grill and lemon potatoes. There were SO MUCH meat for the 2 of us, we took the rest home and had another full meal from the left overs. Everything was seasoned well with tons of flavors. Would definitely recommend.
I ordered here for a while, WAS a regular but today not only did they forget my salad but decreased the portion sizes. The gyro chicken platter is HALF the size it used to be. Not ordering from here again Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food and service here was amazing! I was so satisfied with my meal. Generous portions and delicious food. I highly reccomend trying this place. Good prices as well.
