Best food I had in the area.. The new owners do a great job. I try at least two or three White Bear Lake restaurants every week and I have been disappointed every time. Today I ate for the second time in Ha Long Bay and it was fantastic (as the first time). The Pho is tasteful and competently prepared. Before, I had the Beef Chow Fun and was delighted with the quality compared to other Asian restaurants in the area. The restaurant is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the service is incredibly fast and I cannot wait to try another dish at my next visit.
Absolutely some of the best Asian cuisine in the Twin Cities! Ha Long Bay, located near Century and County Road E in White Bear Lake, has quickly become a go-to spot for food lovers. Its convenient location offers ample parking for both dine-in and takeout customers. The food is fresh, quick, and packed with flavor, complemented by great service and reasonable prices, making for an exceptional dining experience. So far, my personal favorites include the Pho, Bungalow, Curry, and Pad Thai, but there are plenty of other dishes on the menu just waiting to be tried!
Fantastic! The comment from July 2010 is unfortunately outdated. There's been a significant transformation recently. The new owners have introduced wonderful Vietnamese dishes, and they've even brought Pho back to the menu. I believe it's one of the best spots in the city for Pho! The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere is much improved compared to before. It’s wonderful to see more authentic Asian cuisine available. This place is definitely a must-try!
I absolutely love this place!!! They make amazing food, have great costumer service, and never fail to get an order perfect! Truly one of the best family owned restaurants around the White Bear Lake Area. They even were giving out free lunches to school children during the pandemic!!
