First timer, found out about the brewery from the Yard House in the American Dream Mall. Waitress suggested my table to sample it. We were blown away. The coconut blonde Ale was so refreshing and delicious. I had to buy it. My co workers would like me to get them some as well. I found it the brewery. it was a bit tricky. I was determined. It's a very chill cool hangout spot. I would have stayed but it was late. It would have been dangerous if I did. The bartender asked if I tried the vanilla flavor and I have not. Happy to try a sample and yup I bought that too. Left with a smile on my face!! I will be stopping there next week. It's a must on my list.
I have always enjoyed the beer at Hackensack Brewery, particularly their Hackensack Comment beer, which pays a genuine tribute to Hackensack, New Jersey. A fun fact: it has an alcohol content of 8.1, mirroring the 8.1 rating that Barstool gave to Lido's restaurant. The staff here are extremely friendly and eager for you to sample their beers. You won't be disappointed no matter where you enjoy them—whether at a farmers market, in their brewery, or at Lido's Restaurant. The clean and relaxed atmosphere is a delightful experience for everyone.
Hackensack Brewing is a solid brewery! I've enjoyed every beer I've had here. I recently tried the cherry blossom brew and it was definitely different but still delicious nonetheless! Service is solid, we've never experienced any issues. There is no food like all NJ breweries, but you can bring your own food. Regarding the vibe, it's definitely a casual place but I've seen some parties hosted there. We love going when it's beautiful out because they have outdoor seating! We'll be back!
Amazing business! This place holds a big place in me and my fiancé 's heart! We went here on our 4th date during COVID and braved the cold back in Nov 2020. They have an amazing atmosphere with firepits! Their raspberry beer is amazing!! The bar tender was soo nice! We are putting a different growler from each brewery we 've been to in our relationship as wedding center piece! Each brewery we place on the tables has a special meaning to us! Thrilled to visit yet another brewery in Hackesack NJ. I enjoyed it immensely compared to a negative experience at a recently opened brewery 8 miles to the north. Very sociable and knowledgeable beer tenders are the key to a successful brewery. If a customer tells me I come for the atmosphere and knows nothing about the beer, I 'm out! The brewery does not offer food, but there are several restaurants nearby including two pizzerias.
I'm a fan of local breweries, and this one truly delivered. It can be a bit tricky to locate, as it's nestled among warehouses. The beer selection is fantastic, offering a variety of both types and sizes. However, if you're not into games—whether board or electronic—you might find the setup a bit off-putting. There's no food available, so I suggest grabbing dinner beforehand.
Great beer. Tried a lot of local brews, hands down our favorite. Great bar and fun outdoor area. TVs inside. Cool live events and always great music. Staff is always friendly and super helpful. Parking is difficult sometimes, they are located on a neighborhood street (look for the tombstones). Doesn't matter, Great beers!!
