This was our first seafood stop on our trip to the area and we truly enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. I appreciated the casual environment and the view outside. The fried shrimp were an A+ in my book but the rest of our meals fell a little flat. Flavor was lacking it maybe it’s just because I’m from the south where everything is kicked up a notch. Service was slow but pleasant and one of our meals came out completely incorrect which was rectified, but slowly. These are the reasons for 4 vs 5 star review. Spent a nice day at Duxbury beach and figured we would get take out before heading home because I have heard good things about it.The facility seemed clean and the atmosphere was nice. We were greeted promptly and the people working the reception were pleasant.Got home and discovered they gave me the wrong side order with my fried clams. The clams were tough and chewy. Rice pilaf was decent but maybe a few spoonfuls at best. I expect more for $35.My wife and daughter said their fish was good and they enjoyed it.C+.in my book.
Place and location is great lovely view, fish batter was watery,worst batter that I've ever tasted, fish was ok, mash potatoes were not good and cold, the only good I liked was the coleslaw which was good , my friend had fries and they were not that very good, Pina colada was watery, my friend had clam chowder and that wasn't good either. Waitress seemed annoyed and begrudgingly took our orders. Would not go back for the food. Parking: We got one of the last open spots
We have been dining at Haddads for decades, always great seafood, esp the whole Clams. The servers always are Happy and provide top service, pricing is very reasonable and portions always generous, just finished a wonderful dinner tonight. The live entertainment adds to the fun atmosphere!

One of the true gems of the South Shore! The location is fantastic, offering a variety of seating options. They have a good selection of ales and larger beers. The happy hour deals are excellent, especially with some local brews available.
I had a fantastic fried shrimp platter. Others in my group enjoyed the seafood tacos, which came with spicy French fries. The coleslaw tasted homemade and was very good. I wished I could have had more!
Everything was delicious! Great portions. Worth the 45-minute drive. Parking: Really depends on the season. Summer weekends it can be hard to park. Weekdays or off-season there’s plenty of parking.
I had an amazing Fried Shrimp Platter, and my companions enjoyed the Seafood Tacos with spicy French fries. The cole slaw tasted homemade and was really delicious. I definitely wanted more!

I do not like the chowder spilled all over the cup. Ok chowder. Ok service. Average.
