Hadddo House Tearoom

we have visited here many paintings in the course of the years as it has so much to offer. ponds with fish and birds, a great place to take the children to feed the ducks, swans and geese. beautiful gardens with beautiful trees and flowers, forest walks and fantastic historical sights. playgrounds for children and the house itself is spectacular. my youngs always enjoyed the cannon and the statues of the dogs in the garden and of course the huge urn and golden tore the Scottish mile. parking is only £2 and free after 18 clock for the premises.

Had a lovely long walk round the vast grounds of Haddo House then went in for a tour of the house. Our guide was Gordon who was absolutely fantastic and he told us many fascinating stories about the Gordon famy as we went from room to room. The library was amazing and the James Giles paintings of every castle in Aberdeenshire in a downstairs room was also very interesting. It's a great place to visit and good to support the NTS.

guided tour was great, guide was very knowledgeable and interactiw. many walks around the house and they can get a beautiful coffee from the caffe. the Chapel in the house has a wow factor.

beautiful tee room. beautiful ground, did not manage to visit the house as the two tour times had missed. we had to pay for parking even though we were national trust members.

beautiful hike around the ground, large playground for the small, good coffee and souvenir shop
