We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who took us through to the conservatory area where soft modern music was playing, sat us down at a table laid with pretty china plates and tea cups and took our drink preferences (tea or coffee). I visited this restaurant with two friends for an afternoon tea to celebrate a special occasion. When I made the reservation, I specifically mentioned that it was a 60th birthday celebration and requested a table by a window with a nice view. I was assured that this could be accommodated. However, upon arrival, we were seated at a table overlooking the driveway and a dark hedge, which was disappointing. We visited on a sunny June afternoon for our anniversary there was a wedding on in the main hall which did concern us slightly as we worried we might be a little neglected in favour of service for the wedding but our fears were unfounded and things actually worked in our favour we got our own private room and the service was pleasant and consistent throughout. The only slight issue was that they are unable to alter the volume mix for music between the different rooms, so we did get blasted with super loud Ed Sheeran (sigh) at a couple of points when they cranked it up during the ceremony next door. The staff at this restaurant are caring, enthusiastic, passionate, and attentive. However, the rooms are in need of attention and the bar lacks variety. The main disappointment for me was the restaurant. The menu boasts "triple cooled chips," which are actually just frozen chips that have been cooked. The "superfood salad" promises quinoa and pomegranate, but the pomegranate was missing and the quinoa was barely noticeable. When we inquired about the homemade desserts, we received an embarrassed response and heard the word "microwave" mentioned frequently. My colleague ordered the pavlova, which looked unappetizing. The Hadley Park is located in a luxurious and tranquil area. The restaurant is clean and has very friendly staff. We had a family meal there for Mother's Day. The food was a bit too fancy for my taste, but we did have an annoying magician moving around between courses. However, all the staff were very friendly.
Working a night shift I emailed to enquire if there were any tables available for myself and my wife to go and enjoy a meal on our 1st day off together for a long time. Was told that they had one available and that I should call to book. When I called I was told it was fully booked. Terrible customer service.
Customer service prior to and on the day was excellent. Lunch was served in a small dining room, which was cosy and comfortable. The food was all extremely good, although the portions are quite small. It did encourage most of us to have pudding!
Vegetarian options were poor but my husband really enjoyed his Cod dish. Dessert was disappointing as well. I'm sure the main non-veg dishes would have been nice.

We had steak was small and once the fat was removed it was ok. Just glad we didn't pay the full price as no way would I have said it was worth the money
Lovely evening. Had the steak with battered onion rings. Lovely setting great staff. COVID precautions taken so lovely meals and safety first
