Popped it at the end of a walk as it got cold and dark to grab a warming coffee but straight away tempted by the ice cream. Coffee was very good and compostable cups too. Between us we tried 4 flavours of ice cream and I would happily eat a lot of any of them again but my goodness I could eat my own weight in the cinnamon. All of this was served by a very nice friendly owner who took time to enquire about our day and also explain about the homemade ice cream. She also very kindly gave us a discount on the multiple ice cream. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
We recently had a fantastic experience at The Parlour in the lovely village of Lavenham. We have visited multiple times before, but now they offer locally made chocolates, bars, cards, and crockery which enhance the experience. The ice cream was truly amazing, especially the stem ginger flavor which was the best we've ever had. We also enjoyed some takeaway flat whites, which were excellent. The staff was friendly and even offered us a loyalty card, which we happily accepted as we plan to return soon. We highly recommend visiting The Parlour in Lavenham. Enjoy!
I have been searching for my perfect hot chocolate for years more than 20 years) Then by chance a couple of years I forego my chance to have an ice cream so I could try the hot chocolate at The Parlour,hands down the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. I travel to Lavenham to see family and friends but I know I haven’t arrived or settled till I’ve been to order my hot Chocolate,never disappointed . This January despite been back on my healthier eating plan after Christmas blow out,I popped in and had a dark chocolate hot chocolate,still dreaming about it .
This place is charming and sells delicious ice cream. The nicest woman behind the counter too (the owner I think . She’d made some pumpkin ice cream as an experiment and didn’t feel like selling it, so my ice cream was on the house (I did try to pay! . She needn’t have worried as it was really delicious .. a bit like almond kulfi. My daughter’s honeycomb was also v v nice. A HUGE contrast to the pub lunch we’d just endured. Thank you! Made us feel a bit better about Lavenham

Absolutely love this place and go every time we’re in Lavenham! Wonderful hot chocolate that takes time to make as it’s so rich and delicious. The ice cream is gorgeous and worth it even on a cold day. It’s a small shop but if you’re lucky there’s one table or some seats outside, or you can walk around the village to eat on a nice day. Highly recommended!
This is the perfect spot for ice cream in the charming village of Lavenham. The rhubarb and stem ginger flavors were excellent and absolutely divine. I will be craving it for months to come. The shop is adorable with a variety of kitchenware and mugs. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. A must-visit during your trip to Lavenham.
The ice creams were absolutely delicious and fabulous! We had honeycomb, chocolate and salted caramel (between us) The owner was lovely and nice to chat with. She took the time to ask us about how our day out in Lavenham was going and recommended some local places for Halloween activities. Thank you x
We were excited to return to The Parlour during our recent trip to Lavenham. The ice cream selection was delightful and reasonably priced. The server even provided us with some helpful information about local events happening over the weekend. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
