Ignore bad reviews to this place based on dirtyness, tax problems, etc.. please, don't take those reviews seriously. I went there several times, the restaurant is very clean and the kitchen, you can partially see it, it's out in the open, looks very clean, things are prepared fresh, the portions are very generous and the price is right. The food is homemade and hearty. I recommend without hesitation and excuse me for the photos, we forgot to take the photos before we started eating.. Chicken and Griot are amazing. food takes long to receive but thats because it's prepared fresh so I don't mind it, just order in advance.
Be prepared for a wait, but the food is worth it. This restaurant serves some of the best Haitian cuisine in the greater Montreal area. The griot is excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the riz collé and sauce. However, I thought the plantain sandwich was overpriced at $19.99 for what it is. I believe it should cost less than a large griot plate. Personally, I would prefer the plantains in the sandwich to be thinner.
The best griot dish in the Greater Montreal area can be found at this restaurant. Everything was excellent, from the flavorful pikliz and gravy to the perfectly cooked griot. It surpasses any other place I have tried. Be sure to call ahead to avoid any wait.

Meilleurs restaurants de cuisine antillaise que je connaisse. Demandé le riz Djon Djon , délice assuré, ou le samedi il y a le macaronis gratiné. Tous les plats sont succulents. Je recommande a n'importe qui.
Amazing food! Hours are a little limited though and could be adjusted which could offer customers the chance to get some take-out for lunch. If you are looking for authenticity…this is the right place!
