The staff was incredibly polite and friendly. When I asked for a recommendation, she suggested the schezwan noodles. I also checked on the spice level, and she assured me it was mildly spicy. The noodles were quite good, although they were a bit on the dry side. The mango kulfi could use some improvement in texture, as it felt more like crushed ice than traditional kulfi or ice cream. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience at all. I definitely plan to try other items on the menu!
I ordered quite a few items from this place including Veg Hakka noodles and veg American choupsey. Choupsey was super duper sweet and was inedible, I had to garbage it. Hakka noodles were nowhere near Hakka noodles. Not coming back here. Highly dissatisfied!! Response to the owner?.. Shame on you and your acceptance to criticism. By the way I was your first time customer. Yes, I will find the restaurants who serve my taste, you may not find good customers!!
Last week, we tried the Chinese Bhel at Hakka Wakka, and it was fantastic! It brought back memories of Bombay Bhel Puri. The dish was a perfect blend of Indian street food and Chinese flavors. We also enjoyed the Veg Manchurian and fried rice, which were both delicious, and we can't forget the delightful gulab jamun for dessert. The customer service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. This place is a must-try! I will definitely be back.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The owner made racist comments towards customers and even tried to remove a pregnant woman from the premises. The food was the worst I've ever had. Additionally, the owner, Darshan, doesn’t wear a mask when interacting with customers, which is completely irresponsible. I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and I highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for authentic Hakka Chinese cuisine. The Hakka noodles were delicious and served in a generous portion. The tiger shrimp appetizers I ordered were also excellent. If you’re longing for the Hakka food you enjoyed in Tangra, Calcutta, this place is definitely worth a visit. The staff is very friendly too!
I loved their food until tonight when I received a very dark not-so tasty hot and sour soup filled with soy sauce. To note, this soup in general and at their restaurant is always light in color. And the worst was getting the Bombay Triple Schezwan with literally a handful pieces of noodles mixed with rice that tasted like the leftover rice at the bottom of a pan. Hugely disappointed!
I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats and got fried rice, dragon chicken, and chicken Manchurian. The dragon chicken was spicy and delicious. The Manchurian had a generous amount of gravy, which is uncommon for Hakka places. The fried rice was decent and had an authentic Indian touch. However, the soup wasn't very good. Overall, it was a mixed experience!
