It has been many months since I visited a curry house, and some time since this restaurant. On a whim I decided I NEEDED a real Asian (Indian/curry) meal. I haven’t been here for a few months and rocked up early. The venue is empty and I ask the maitre de to recommend dishes that I can eat in and takeaway left overs. Suffice to say I have a mix of dishes including Biriani plus vegetables and a naan. The delivery is perfect and I fill my plate (almost). The rest I will take home for tomorrow and maybe Thursday. I ordered food online and everything went smoothly. We received a 15% discount and had the food delivered to our home. The food arrived warm and we shared it between us. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the quality of the food, especially the two Naan breads which were horrible. The color of the food all looked the same and my chicken tikka masala was too dark red and thick for my liking. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience and will not be returning. We ended up throwing away most of the food, making it a waste of £50.
Takeaway delivery 1st time ordering tonight...and impressed they deliver to Partridge Green, as not many places do. Slight delay on ordering time (they estimated 45 mins, but took 65 mins) although we weren't in a rush so this was OK, and we appreciate it was a Saturday night! Excellent meal and very happy customers. Even got a call to check we enjoyed the meal and to see if there was anything else we needed, or they could do Great customer service. Thank you
As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a delightful aroma of spices and meat. The waitstaff is efficient in serving food and drinks. The king prawn balti was tasty and satisfying. Despite being short-staffed, we had the opportunity to meet and converse with the new owner, a young charismatic man who gladly stepped in to help out. I made a reservation online for this restaurant in the morning, and ended up arriving half an hour late. A friendly young girl greeted us at the door, which made up for our tardiness. My youngest son and I had a wonderful evening together and we both agreed that the food was so delicious that it deserved a rating of 11 out of 10. It was definitely worth the wait.
Ordered 4 Wednesday night buffet meals and all the food was delicious and well cooked. The staff were very attentive and we received great customer satisfaction. Will definitely be ordering again. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and inviting although we had a take away. All in all a great experience and great value well done. : Michael.
