I'm shocked there are bad reviews.. this place checks just about all the boxes.Trying to reduce carbs so I ordered COD coleslaw with side of calamari.Bright, and clean inside and they were relatively quick to make my order (during dinner rush! On way home I tried the calamari. OMG, these were fantastic.Large, tender chunks that are nice and crispy on the outside and very well seasoned, with a bit of heat and a decent dipping sauce.Same for the fish, HUGE piece that was lightly battered.Aside from a pretty steep price (1 star lost for that seemed to be worth it (30$
I had the best chowder at this place and the halibut was so delicious. I liked the fact that they could offer veggies and rice instead of fries and coleslaw. A good change from usual fish and chips. Service was excellent. Rice was bit cold at once and they even replaced a fresh cooked rice which was great. The whole atmosphere was wonderful. I would definitely visit here again since it’s the best place for halibut.
We each ordered hadock. I had fries and the other guest had rice.The server was very nice. She noticed I was unhappy and asked if I would like crispier fries?????. Had it happened a lot.Not only were the fries under cooked. So was both of our fish and tasted greasy. I was very disappointed. The quality certainly wasn't there. Chances of us going back...Not likely
This place has by far the best fish and chips in KW. It is not greasy and good portion size. The sole plate at $9.99 is a good value and the taste is mild and delicious. This special is available at all times.You won't be disappointed.Parking: Big plaza lot for my F150.
Absolutely garbage for the cost, and I had 0 cheese on my poutine . Would also be helpful if the staff listened while people ordered as I asked for two 2 piece cod and got 2 pieces of fish. Its not worth it in the least and I 'd post a pic but it 's not letting me.
Amazing all around. The service was great too. If you're looking for a place to experience a great fish and chip experience then look no further.
The fish was way over cooked and dry. I expected better since I'm a regular at their Waterloo location and it is excellent.
It's deep-fried overpriced fish that has no flavor ..Payed over $25 for few frys and halibut that tasted like tilapia .
Welcoming Servicing was fine but food and price was disappointing. Food just zero taste and overpriced.
