We just had dinner at the restaurant for my brother's wedding, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The bride mentioned that it was exactly what she had envisioned. They even waived the charges for the meals of guests who couldn't attend due to an unexpected rain shower. We couldn't have been happier with the service we received during this event, and we will definitely return. However, our experience at the hotel was quite different. Our guests had a number of frustrating experiences there, and I will address that in a separate review. Just a tip: avoid staying in the vanilla!
Three of us opted for the special, which included New York steak, grilled shrimp with potatoes and vegetables, while one person chose a sandwich (the name escapes me). We also enjoyed a glass of the house Merlot, which was surprisingly good. Although the steak and shrimp were a bit overcooked, we managed to have a lovely time—luckily, we’re not too fussy when it comes to food!
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. It’s a wonderful spot!
The atmosphere is 50's French quarter. The cuisine is a cut above the average steak house. The service is first rate and prices are slightly higher for the area. Our steak was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were just the right tenderness. My short ribs pasta was flavorful though the the meat was just a little tougher than expected. The creme brulee was freshly caramelized and delicious. This restaurant has been around for years, but it's worth a new look.
Hamilton's did not acknowledge my reservation for seven, but they managed to find a table for us after a 15-minute wait. Our waitress was outstanding, but the food was only average. Out of the seven of us, three really enjoyed their dishes. The food felt more like catered offerings rather than an upscale dining experience.

Margie was our waitress and she was so helpful in ordering our food offered options had a custom made fruit iced tea made for me and the steak was perfection the side of basmati rice was so good also the veggies petfectly aldente.
We had a fantastic dinner and excellent service from Leo. The hot crispy bread was great, as well as the zeasarsalate and fetters. Very recommended to eat here! Looks like the happy hour is pretty brilliant.
