I’m not sure if H&T just had a bad night but it took over an 1 hour and 30 mins to be served our food and when it came, it was cold. Of course by this point we were all starving so just ate. I think the food would have tasted a lot better had it been hot which is why I went down the middle with my score. On a positive note the chips were tasty and the cheese toasties (not sure the SA word for it) were great. I found the service to be pretty bad, with lack of communication and extremely slow service not only on food but also drinks. This place was recommended by a friend as a nice South African restaurant but I wouldn’t not be recommending it to my friends. I made the reservation a week before Valentines Day and in that time I was more than a few times to confirm that we are still going. We arrived 10 minutes before the time I booked and the place was full with no free tables so we were offered a table in their downstairs hall so we had to take it. The ambience downstairs was not great. Dark, no decor, no nothing. Felt like you are in a dark room or garage or something. Service was slow and the waiter didn’t seem very friendly. Once they get through the doors, they know they're good for something! the smell of the braai is sensational and brought me back completely into a holiday in South Africa. the ripening were absolutely some of the best I have ever eaten and the portions generous for the price they pay. the personal offered kindly to pack our rest to enjoy home. the cocktails are also worth mentioning! in any case where I plan back to enjoy the rest of the menu, and recommend others. many thanks for a great meal!

food was great and our waiter was really friendly, i gave it 4 stars because i didn’t like the desert, we got the chocolate moose and it was too bitter for me. other than that great food!
An un heard of restaurant I think in Farringdon. Food is so good and wine lovely great for business lunches and not too expensive
Nice selection of meats! The service was good also a nice spot to catch up with friends! The fries were absolutely spot on!
