Our server was Christal and she was excellent. She was very friendly and upbeat. The food was very good overall, although my dad's egg Benedict did arrive about 8 minutes after everyone else's, but he still said it was delicious. The restaurant was a little cramped for our party of 7 in a tiny room. One issue we had was that the bathrooms were not clean at all, which was a downfall for us. If a restaurant can keep their restrooms clean, it gives us confidence that their kitchen is clean as well.
Just had the best GF breakfast! It has been a long time since I've been able to eat out for breakfast and really enjoy the food! There was enough to bring some home for another meal. My fiancé ordered the omelet and he said it was delicious as well! We both brought home a piece of carrot cake and chocolate cake to eat later in the week and ate the ice cream (that comes with it) there. We are soooo full and I am so thrilled to again visit CBS! We will be back again soon!
We had a wonderful dinner at Hamrock’s on Saturday night! Great service! The apps were spot on. Calamari was perfectly cooked. The avocado bruschetta and Brussel sprouts excellent. The main courses were nice sized portions and very tasty. Rock fish and ribeye. We had several great priced bottles of Pinot noir! They have a great porch area as well for when the weather warms up. The owner chef even came out to greet us and chat for a bit. We will most certainly be back!
the food was good but nothing special special. the biggest reason i?m giving a 3 star rating is because the crab cake sandwich was more bread than crab cake. though the waiter did mention there would be shrimp in it. it was more of a shrimp cake with a bit of crab. fried could have been crispier, they were a little soggy. my friend had the pasta and replaced the protein with vegetables. again, it was alright but nothing mind blowing.

I have been to Founding Farmers, Sweetwater, Mike's, and other restaurants, but this place is absolutely fantastic and highly recommended. The service here was exceptional and very professional. The quesadillas were amazingly delicious. This will definitely be my new favorite spot for brunch. I have also tried their lunch and dinner options, which are even better than the brunch offerings. Overall, this restaurant is excellent.
Definitely in my top 10 Virginia restaurants! Celebrated my husbands 50th Birthday here this past weekend. Food was amazing and the server was very attentive. I loved the atmosphere. I encourage you to try the Saffron Vegetable Risotto when you dine with Hamrock’s. We will be returning soon.
This was easily one of the best meals I’ve had all year. The food (the salmon) was amazing, the waiters were kind and knowledgable, and the ambience knew what it was and worked well. It was a great experience.
Probably one of the best brunches I have ever had. It's in a lovely old house down town. The service is wonderful and friendly. The tea is amazing. This is plac ei a must if you are in Fairfax.

Salmon salad..deviled eggs..and ultimate chocolate dessert with 2 great glasses of cabernet. Great atmosphere and super attentive service. Also popovers and muffins!!
