I really enjoyed the decor at this restaurant. The name and some of the decorations, including airplane motifs, likely pay tribute to Kew Gardens, which is home to many airline workers. The happy hour prices were quite reasonable, and the Coconut Shrimp was delicious. The service was also commendable. However, I wasn't particularly fond of the music that was playing, but I was able to tolerate it. The place was empty during my visit, but it had just opened a few minutes before I arrived. I don't mind that it wasn't busy, though. Overall, I'm glad I decided to check it out. I may or may not return, but the Coconut Shrimp might just entice me for another visit.
So I always drive by this place and never actually went in until last week. I was greeted by Nidia at the bar and she made me feel like a regular. Full of life and energy and made my drink exactly how I asked for it. Food was great too and the music was on point ! Def going back if it’s the same girl behind the bar !
I absolutely love this place! Every time I visit New York, I make it a point to stop by the Hangar. I've never experienced such excellent service anywhere else. The drinks and food are fantastic and reasonably priced, but it’s the service that truly sets this place apart.
This neighborhood bar is perfect for grabbing a drink or some casual bar food. I would recommend steering clear of any promotions or events they promote, as my friends have gone twice and found them to be misleading.

The burger was quite greasy, and the cheese seemed artificial and didn't melt well. The guacamole was lacking lime. On the bright side, the fries were tasty.
The birria tacos were AMAZING and the drinks were on point. Everything was fantastic!
