Hanks Franks on Route 46 in Lodi offers a fantastic experience. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the prices are very reasonable. I particularly enjoyed the Sauerkraut and Mustard hot dog, and I was pleasantly surprised by the crinkle-cut fries—they're wonderfully crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a great potato flavor. This charming spot is conveniently located next to the highway, making it a great place to watch the traffic go by. Plus, there's additional shopping just five minutes down the road. I highly recommend it!
I was visiting the area for a wedding and stopped here for lunch. This is an old-fashioned stand with great food and prompt service. All the seating is outside, but the tables do have umbrellas. I had a chili dog, a sour kraut hot dog, and a Birch Beer fountain drink. Great comfort food at a reasonable price.
Great place been around for ages , nice clean dirty water dog establishment with their own Texas sauce , as far as sauce goes for dirty water dogs they are the absolute hands down best ! I
Old time hot dog place that serves, wait for it, egg creams! Sometimes I go just for the egg creams though I do like their hot dogs as well, especially potato with red onion.
I’ve been coming to this place for years, and the hot dogs are fantastic! The chili dog with hot onions is absolutely the best. You really can’t go wrong here.
The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly, and the food was exquisite.
