I had lovely, authentic Vietnamese meal at Hanoi Bike Shop. The rice paper rolls were fresh and so delicious, and served with a side of herbs and a variety of dipping sauces. The tofu Banh Mi sandwich was also tasty, but the bread they used was more of a dense, French roll, rather than a baguette which was disappointing. I also loved the decor the lanterns and small stools and plastic chairs made me feel like I was in Vietnam again.
they enjoy this little place, which is a side street in the west end of glasgow. the walls are amusingly decorated with a large number of radiparaphericals. the ochsenwange was fantastic as the sticky huh. the carrot salad was less successful. overall, the aromes were slightly damped. the waiting staff was very friendly and attentive. would recommend.
My concern was that Hanoi Bike Shop is cool, we're talking super cool, we are talking Ranulph-Fiennes-chop-off-your-fingers-because-you've-got-frostbite cool. My problem is I am not cool. The rest of the Flintstones are: Betty has a VW camper van; Wilma has Dior sunglasses and Barney has a jumper from Abercrombie and Fitch.
a must go in glassgow when they are vietnamese, especially a hanoian when the decoration here makes them feel like home. eating was excellent, but they should not put sprout in ph-aqua for the northern people. the caffe skula đá was exceptional, cried out from everyone could make this coffee. Love this place.. Especially the coffee.. Whenever in need of good comfort food, Hanoi delivered.. The fried springroll is delicious, the pho also a winner..Clear and tasty broth with tender meat..and really loved the vermicelli carrot salad.. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
pho is amazing! it is worth going there only for the taste experiences! even if it is 15£, it is absolutely worth every single penny! the only thing I didn't like is that all our clothes and haare advised to eat. So I wouldn't guess if you went to a club or pub afterwards!
