Following their advice, I contacted the restaurant and was asked to send a photo as “evidence,” which I did. They then requested that I come in to speak with the owner. I visited the store when I had the chance to explain the situation. However, as I was recounting what happened, the owner started laughing at me and insisted they needed to see the sushi roll for themselves. I explained that it was impossible to bring the roll back since I had already eaten it, and I found it repulsive to carry it around. I had never ordered sushi from this place before, but I decided to give it a try for a quick lunch. I went with the boiled tuna and cucumber roll and the teriyaki chicken. I had high hopes for the California rolls, thinking they would be a staple anywhere I went, but I ended up not liking them at all and had to push myself to finish. The teriyaki sauce was overpowering and didn’t taste good; it had the flavor of a cheap bottled sauce and an odd texture. Additionally, the mayonnaise in the tuna roll was also off-putting and not enjoyable. I also wish there had been more options on the menu. I might give it another shot someday, but overall, I was disappointed.
I visited Han’s Sushi Bar in Cranbourne West for lunch and I was very impressed by the quality and variety of their sushi. The sushi rolls were fresh and tasty. They also had small choice of hot food on offer like teriyaki chicken, curry chicken and salmon teriyaki. Unfortunately they do not provide the chilli powder which normally found in other Japanese restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.
The salmon roll I ordered had very little filling—there was more avocado than salmon. The sushi rice was dry and definitely needed some vinegar to enhance the flavor. The worst sushi Gyoza. Just came back home after getting take away. The Gyoza is not even cooked. She said it’s 10 min to cook and we waited. The sushi is like plastic and they don’t even give free ginger which is unknown if any sushi place. Never going back!!
You cannot beat Hans Sushi. Its all always delicious. My partner and I gave them a big order, and because they didnt have it all ready, they happily made it all fresh for us, no questions asked, and always smiling
I go out of my way to get my sushi from Han’sushi.Not only fresh, but when they walked out of something, they look forward to catching it up for me. easy 5 stars
