Why is everything covered in Gravy ?? Its thick like roux, it taste like unseasoned gumbo poured over everything. My husband and I each got different things but it tasted exactly the same because of the Gravy . Soggy and gross. Paid $32 for a dinner i wouldn 't eat for free. This place is supposed to be Chinese but it doesn 't taste Chinese at all. Asked for a regular Chinese noodle instead of the Mongolian mush and when it came out its just grease salt and pepper and all the veggies were still raw.. Server blamed a new cook but idk. Maybe the rice or something is good, but avoid the bulk of the menu and make sure you tell them no gravy! Never heard of a Chinese restaurant using gravy on eve...

One of our favorites!. The Happy Buddah in our area has closed a few years ago, so we go here every time we're in Galveston. We even made the 2 hours drive with more than one occasion just to eat here. Lunch specialities are the best deal in spite of all. We're always stuck with the sweet and sour chicken or pig. Also the ribs, fried sommes and sommeliers soup are popular.
Before the pandemic I used to frequent this place weekly because of the awesome Long Island iced tea's and the jalapeño pork. I went last week and was very disappointed. Waitstaff was great but my food and drinks were not good at all. I didn't finish my meal and I sent the drinks back. Maybe they were just having a bad day . I will revisit post a new review.
Pineapple pork. Fresh pineapple and a delicious pig, garlic gravy bring this dish together. I ordered it over 500 times. The cost is $9. The 15 weekday lunch specialties $6.95) are very large portions, all from fried shrimp to gen Tso chicken. You also have a nice bar with a few TV 's if you are looking for 'the game'. I love this place... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
great place! the owner hardy noticed that I had finished eating my food before everyone who sat with me at the table. he asked me if I wanted to eat another dish, so I don't have to look at everyone else. I thought it was really nice that he brought me another dish. really nice guy! you have a lifetime client in me!
I order general tso chicken and walnut shrimp and beef broccoli44$. When I got home no beef and broccoli when I got home I called they said I didn't order that but I said ok I went to eat my walnut shrimp. It was more lettuce and mayonnaise than anything and the food was super greasy honestly I just threw it away.
Really bad customer service. No one greets you, you wait over 15 minutes for your server, and the entire time no one checks on you. The food wasn't that great either. No one liked their food or service. I'm extremely disappointed.
Take out was a comically small portion, a hot mushy mess. Don’t get the Lo Mein, you will be disappointed. Easily the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I’ve had Chinese food in strange places. Not worth the $12 at all. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I love this place! I'm a local and I'm eating here all the time. Spacious portions, friendly staff. Lunch menu is cheap, creative and fast. Try the pineapple sprocket c:
