Starting with the atmosphere: I like the building. It reminds me of an old Pizza Hut building and I have nostalgia over the smell in there. I wish I could order a personal pan and breadsticks and I'd be in heaven. The service was fine. It seems like everyone is just wearing whatever and it's hard to tell who is actually working there. Random t shirts, backwards caps, anything goes. The thing that got me was the host left his spot for about ten minutes to go to the bathroom and the station was empty. We in the lobby heard the toilet flush, about five seconds later we heard the paper towel dispenser, and then he came waltzing out. At best, he dipped his hands in water and did not bother washin...
I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a kid, my mother and father would go on Sundays. Hands down the food was the most authentic and tasteful Chinese food ever! The father passed the restaurant down to his son Harry… food was still good. Not sure who owns the place now because the name Tong’s was added, It should have been the word WRONG HAPPY BUDDHA! Food is garbage now. I called to let them know the ribs were hard and tough. Sorry was all I got, not bring it back to make it right. Mind you I drove 15 miles to get it. Needless to say I will NOT be going back. Also paid $18 dollars for rib plate. I took photos but unable to upload. Don’t waste your money.
One of my family's favorite places to stop in when we make a trip to Galveston, it's become one of the traditions of our family to stop in for the delicious food before a day on the beach. Food is always well made and very reasonably priced, the style and atmosphere of the restaurant is so relaxed and quaint and the staff is always kind and helpful. As soon as we leave we're excited to come back again!
Decent food clean restaurant overall variation of servers never asked if we needed more tea about four times. The restaurant it self needs up dating. Looks out dated and dingy. Few odd things as decor. German architecture and a Scottish paintIng in middle of a Chinese restaurant.

First and last time getting food from this place this food don’t taste nothing like Chinese food we got eggfuoyoung and it taste like a omelette and it was kinda burnt and we also got beef and broccoli the gravy had a weird taste this place in not worth it
We came here because we read the good reviews. The ladies were nice but I don’t think that the quality of the food is great. The pork was so hard that we could not chew it.and the same was with the general tso chicken. So not worth 30 dollars
Food for dinner tastes like it was made in the morning. Service was good meals were to go inside 5 minutes I Think I know why.
Great food. Great prices. Me and my family love this place its a galveston staple.The owner and staff are very friendly.

Soup was so bad we threw it away!! Rice was very dry and bland! Worst Chinese in 10 States by far!!
The food isn't good. Chow mien isn't good it's soupy. Better off at panda express.
