I don't eat a lot of donuts but stumbled upon this place when I first arrived in Palo Alto because it was just around the corner from my house. The maple filled donut is heavenly with custard filling. Also, tried the basic taro smoothie which was pretty straight forward and their sandwiches and breakfast muffins are cheap and pretty decent. Giant donut on the ceiling. All of it made me happy.
I'm not typically someone who craves donuts, especially in the morning. However, the cronut holes here are absolutely irresistible. They're incredibly delicious and honestly quite addictive! Since this place is conveniently located near my office, my coworkers often bring in donuts from here. Happy Donuts has officially become my new favorite spot!
We came here one rainy morning on my mom's birthday. There were just a few people ahead of us in line, very friendly staff, and tasty donuts! They are known for their cronuts with cream filling and this ended up being my favorite one. These were very fresh donuts and I am glad we ended up getting half a dozen donuts and half a dozen donut holes.
Recommendations: Pay with cash unless you want to get hit with a credit card fee.Pretty standard donut shop to get a sugar fix whenever the crave hungers. I tried the chocolate cronut. Where else can you find classic donuts in the are? Delicious donuts and Vietnamese coffee! Service is great and quick even with a morning crowd. For the longest time I didn't not know this place was here. It's a small little shop packed with a nice donut offering. The cronut are a fun shape and a nice twist on the classic.
Came by during the weekend, late afternoon. There was 2 customers ahead of us. The staff was friendly. Ordered Cronut holes dozen 3 glazed donuts The donuts were good, soft and fluffy.The cronut holes were good, all those layers. This is my first time at happy donut. We were buying sandwiches next-door, and I saw the sign on the window advertising cronuts. They are delicious. I especially love the cream filled cronut holes.Woman that helped me was super nice!

"It's a small little bar on the backside of Curry Up Now. Although it says that they are open till 12 AM, they got closed at 10:30 PM on a Friday. So we did not get a chance to try their cocktails."
