We had a bridal shower here for our wonderful bride to be and Harborside was absolutely perfect for this. We had a large group of about 50 people and we were so happy with how everything turned out. Jeffrey helped us get in early (before the restaurant opened so we can decorate the space. The bartender was great and served us drinks early. The food came out hot and delicious. There were no awkward gaps during food service, and as a family full of servers and restaurant owners, we were thoroughly impressed with the service (which is quite hard to do! . Call Jeffrey if you are interested in hosting a party here, they will not disappoint.
Shrimp Linguini was amazing. Our server, Katie was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu and was able to answer all of our questions. Located inside of the historic Balboa Pavilion building, built in 1906. Harborside Restaurant is one of those places you sit and think about all of the history this 117 year old building has seen. I does not hurt that the food is also good.
The bartender was our server and he was way too busy, poor guy. Took forever to get our food they forgot some of it had to go up to the bar to order more drinks? Been here before and have always gotten good service? It was a Tuesday of all days and had just told someone about Harborside (how good they are) in the parking lot they were from Phoenix.
Omg! If you’re in the area…you need to eat here! The fish and chips are amazing but not only that, there’s something for everyone! The fish tacos were also a must order and the chicken sandwich…it’s probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! Service and drinks were on point too! Very clean and orderly.

The food is ok but overpriced, the place is nice and the view is beautiful, it's cold inside, everyone in our group wears their jackets inside the restaurant. The decoration is a little outdated. The drinks are decent.
Beautiful view of harbor, boats, and water. Food was very filling and yummo. Drinks were on point. Our server and manager were very attentive and friendly.
The experience was decent, but not outstanding. It felt a bit overpriced for what was offered, although the atmosphere by the water was enjoyable.
The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and I really enjoy sitting in the bar area while watching the boats on the water.
