This pub, located next to the harbor, has a cozy and inviting interior with friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food is significantly overpriced. I ordered the steak and ale pie for £17.25 and was disappointed to receive a small, mass-produced pie filled mostly with gravy and small pieces of meat. The side dishes were also lacking, with a few chips, a half-carrot, and half a shallot. My friend's mashed potatoes were clearly frozen, and another friend's quiche was a tiny slice. The spicy chicken burger had a small, unimpressive chicken piece. It is frustrating to leave feeling like we were overcharged, especially considering the nice ambiance of the place. We had a party of 7 for dinner at this restaurant and all of our meals were delicious. The pie was especially excellent, with high quality and delicious flavors. Many people enjoy the pie so much that they wish it were available all year round, not just in the winter. The fish and chips were also a must-have, as they never disappoint. We are fairly regular customers. Have always had good experiences so decided to try the Harbour Inn for 'casual ' Valentines dinner. Of course, always going to be a busy night but the Inn is spacious enough that it doesn 't feel crowed which was what we were after. Very nice meal, the food was a little longer arriving than normal but not unreasonable so and the friendly staff kept us well informed and ensured we were happy.
The food at this restaurant was delicious. I ordered the fish and chips burger with French fries. The fish was cooked perfectly with a light, crispy batter. The chunky chips were also tasty. The burger was very flavorful and came with skinny fries. The staff was friendly and the service was fast.

Sunday Lunch was £18 pp. As l don't eat veg, l asked for the turkey which was nice and was given 4 potatoes and a yorkshire pudding. I asked for an extra potato and wasn't given one. Yorkshire was burnt. Definitely not worth the high price tag for two slices of meat and 4 potato's.
Staff were lovely and incredibly helpful and friendly. Space itself is clean and the food was excellent. As we were there for a family event they put a lot of effort into preparation of food and being on hand at the bar throughout. Reggie the cat was also an excellent addition!
Staff helpful we had one friend who is celiac. Asst manager served us and was superb in how he dealt with everything. Waitress was great throughout and best of all the food was great. Mussels for starter very large portion . Really enjoyed it and will always go back
Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Waitress was attentive, and service was good. Food was excellent (Brie and Cranberry Wellington Fish and chips). All in all I would recommend this place.
