While the hardcover has some nice dishes, it lacks the basic consistency that would make it a solid 4 star restaurant. Firstly, service was good- our waiter was nice and prompt, and the staff seemed friendly. The location itself inside the restaurant is a bit cramped but cozy. Its definitely loud inside at busy times. The salad bar and bread in my opinion are underwhelming for a restaurant of this price range. While the self serve style is in theory a nice idea, it reminded me a lot of the corner of my college dining hall (nothing against salad bars, I just think they could do something more with it). in the early evening of the 1st august 2022 celebrated my parents and I mean 60th birthday in the main room on the hardcover. while waiting for our main entrance, I had a complete glass martini on the table. when the waiter came to my plate of scallops 10 oz. primer rib he hit the Martini glass and the glass came on me and my sunglasses were on the table and must fall on the floor and was picked up during cleaning and now I am a $250.00 couple prescription sunglasses.
