My husband I visited on a warm August evening sat on the lovely terrace with views of the pretty square by the town hall. Everything was perfect, friendly service really, really good food. Beef burger chicken burger were top quality ...coleslaw chips were homemade delicious. Simple, top quality a change from eating in French restaurants every night
really nice evening in the holzburger bar sitting outside on a beautiful place. excellent burgers with delicious homemade rolls and real fresh frits. so good, my son insisted on having a second! we were made to feel really welcome and also had a few laughs with the owner. in any case recommend.
Homemade brioche rolls and meat ground when you order... very fresh and high quality burgers. Open on Sunday and the owner speaks very good English. We needed a break from the incredible French cuisine and Hardwood was just the ticket!
We had a friendly greeting but told there was a wait as they were busy. Well it was worth the wait. A veggie and a BBQ burger with fries and coleslaw to share. Fabulous tasting fresh burgers, in home made buns. Well worth a visit.
it was raised early, but you were allowed to take a place and wait until it was opened. burgers had of all and they were all delicious. the child menu was excellent. service super. recommend the chorizo burger.
Delicious legit burgers! Great variety and great service! So glad we found this on our trip! They even have Dr Pepper and Napa wines: Their habanero sauces may be the spiciest food in France:
Just had a fabulous meal at Hardwood Burger Bar, food was very nice and staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly would definitely recommend if staying in this lovely town.
Such delicious burgers and amazing service! Best onion rings I’ve had yet. We tried the beef and chicken burgers and both were fantastic. Definitely give Hardwood a try!
we ate here on a Friday evening while we stay on the nearby camping site. excellent preference and service. we had not booked, but we found a table for the 5.
