Decided on a spur of the moment dinner out with the old fella for date night. We arrived around half six and it had a steady stream so we knew there could be a wait for the food. Both choose a steak medium rare, mine with Stilton and garlic sauce and the other with a peppercorn sauce. Bar chap took the order was so pleasant and chatty made you feel welcome. When the food arrived it looked amazing and the steak.had that fleshy plump bounce to it that showed was cooked perfect which on tasting it was. Mine was unfortunately cold inside. Now I don't expect a medium rare to be hot or it wouldn't be rare. The bar chap whipped it away and warmed.it a bit more and offered to replace the whole meal....
My family of 7 went to this restaurant today for Sunday lunch to celebrate a family member's birthday. We have been here 3 or 4 times before, but never for Sunday lunch. We were all blown away and will definitely be returning for Sunday lunch again! We all agreed that this was the best Sunday dinner we have had out. I had the beef and everyone else had the pork. The meat was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and the gravy was delicious. We will definitely be recommending this restaurant to all our family and friends. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. Thank you for a great lunch!
I normally don't leave a review for food places but the food I had here was stunning ! Me and my partner visited here after a trip to a local zoo not expecting much but thought we would try . We wasn't from the area so wasn't sure what the food was like. Just the menu alone we was pleased with the food options. The food was amazing. The dish I had which was curry with naan bread was so flavoursome and every mouthfull I was commenting how gorgeous it was. We will be visiting here again if we are ever around this area.
Really lovely spot for some lunch! Me and my sister went today and enjoyed it so much we are already planning on coming again soon and have even sent our family to go and enjoy it tonight too , which they have already reported back with a very positive experience. Friendly staff, and reasonably priced too. Thanks guys for an enjoyable experience and see you again soon

Popped in for a family dinner and we were very pleased with our experience. Nice friendly service, delicious food and the restaurant was clean. We can recommend the chicken tikka which came served on a massive naan bread, fish and chips, lasagne and pizza. Definitely worth a visit.
The staff provided excellent service, being friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. The pub quiz was also a fun and enjoyable experience. Overall, great value for money at this restaurant!
I had an excellent Sunday lunch and dessert at this restaurant. The portions were generous, delicious, and worth the price. Jason and Billy provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place.
Went in and heard great things and let me tell you I wasn’t let down, food was amazing and perfectly cooked, the staff were all friendly and very welcoming, I’ll definitely be back

Popped in for food last minute had a mixed grill and my wife had gammon, food and service was excellent and we ended up booking Christmas party meal for 16 !
Dry, overcooked food. The smallest mixed grill and hunters chicken ever. Slow service at the bar. Wouldn’t recommend
