This is my first time here, ordered a Smoked salmon egg benedict and a fresh apple juice. Fresh apple juice cost $6.50, it tasted good but that's not enough for a big guy in a hot summer! I got there around 11:20am and its not...even lunch hour yet. It took around 15 mins to have the egg benedict ready, by the moment I'd already finished my apple juice. Egg benedict looks nice (you can see that in photo), as far as I know, yolk should be soft in centre. Not really at all! Yolks were well cooked. Lucky it tasted good which completely compensated the little imperfect. I checked the menu and found out iced coffee cost $6.95, a bit pricey for the Ashfield area. This bustling café is best accessed on foot as there is limited parking, with the closest option being in the Ashfield Mall. A group of nine of us visited for Saturday morning breakfast and found the staff to be friendly and efficient in seating us in a small room. There was no table service, so we had to order individually at the counter, which slowed things down slightly. Despite this, the food selection was good and although the wait time was a bit long, considering the number of orders placed at once, as well as those from other customers in the café, it was acceptable. We were all happy with the quality and portion size of our meals, and the coffee was also enjoyable. The only downside...
Our local host took us here the first day we were in town. Although it's small with probably 10 tables, it has stools around the window looking out. Fabulous coffee shop, breakfast (eggs benidict was fabulous), sandwiches (steak sandwich was thin and dry), the blueberry...pancakes were excellent. While in the area for a week our party of 6 ate here 3 times and loved it. Love the quaint atmosphere and the service was top notch. Very clean and hospitable. They stay pretty busy and that tells you something. They have only been open for 3 months but there is no doubt in my mind that they will be here for a very long time. The best of luck to them!!!

There was no table service so all of us had to order separately from the counter which slowed things down a bit.Food selection is good and time to arrival was a bit slow but considering nine orders were placed at once, plus from other people in the café, it was ok. We were all happy with the quality and size of our serves. Coffee was good. One negative, food prices for a small local cafe are on the high side.

is it like a partly Portuguese chicken shop, partly turksih kebab shop and harika? that is not a Japanese name? I mean, they're all trades and masters of none. they should decide who they are or what they do. you can't be anything. to all people, and every time I've ever eaten there, there was something mixed about eating. they bring me food that I didn't order, and once I ordered a chickenburger, and that huh was super-ultra spicy! I couldn't eat it. I had to complain.
I stopped by Harika for a quick visit on Saturday, 05/08/17. I ordered a banana bread with a flat white coffee. The service was friendly and the restaurant had a welcoming interior. The menu prices were very reasonable for dining in or taking out. Harika is conveniently located in a vibrant area just a short walk from Ashfield Railway Station and the shopping center.
Called into HARIKA for short visit on Saturday 05/08/17, ordered one Banana Bread with one flat white coffee. Friendly service and plenty of indoor seating. Menu prices are very reasonable for eat in or takeaway. HARIKA is situated in a busy location
I've been calling in here for coffee in the morning going to work. Friendly staff, you can get burgers and break fast food as well.

Cracking little cafe for breakfast. Good coffee, food and service and a nice atmosphere. Will be back next time I'm in Ashfield.
