After being a little hesitant due the the reviews, me and the wife decided to give Harold Seltzers a shot today (Sunday 10/15) anyways since she wanted steak. For appetizers, my wife got the clam chowder and I got French onion soup. The broth in the chowder could have been thicker but the taste was spot on. Extremely tender clams. I am very picky about French onion soup but I will have to say that this one, was the 2nd best I 've had in Florida so far. I wonder if it had or missing the shot of alcohol (let me know if I have to ask for it)? The homemade rolls are huge and delicious. So we’re in from NY for a long weekend and we were looking for a nice Restaurant that wouldn’t break the bank . I came across this steakhouse and looked at the reviews and I was on the fence to go there . As we pulled up from the outside the place looks nice , we went in and the inside looks nice so I said to my wife that I’m feeling good about this place and from than on our experience was GREAT . Our waiter was Mars yes that’s his name Mars came over to greet us and get us drinks . And we could tell at that time that we had a good waiter . New server was very nice and helpful. Food though was very disappointing. Potatoes and broccoli were cold. Ribeye was just OK. Not great, tough. Not much taste. Ribs, for a full rack was small, dry and did not fall off the bone. Manager was around, but never once came by our table. Though she did she put up chairs on the tables next to us and vacuumed while we were finishing up our dinner and wine. Extremely unprofessional. The manager never acknowledged us. There was no thank you or saying good night..., even though she was 10 feet away vacuuming. Yet she had the time to warn us to be careful of the electrical cord! This was a birthday dinner. I went for the prime rib and was extremely disappointed! The manager came to our table and we expressed our dissatisfaction. He apologized and said he would try a piece in the kitchen. Great place, miss their cocktails and food! First drink I ever ordered at 21, and love the peanut butter jelly cocktail. Bummed I never did get the recipe for that one!! Dylan was a fantastic server. He was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. I highly recommend ordering the ahi-tuna. We were served by Dylan and he truly enhanced our dining experience. It was one of the best we've had in a while and we will definitely return. We dined for dinner and spent over $100 per person.
