Recently ordered food for the family from Harold's. Always a good experience until this past Sunday. The pastrami sandwiches were delicious, I think even better than before, but the coleslaw...... the flavor was ok, but the cabbage is no longer finely shredded but is more chopped. Still, ok, but did not taste as good. Also purchased a fried flounder sandwich. Very dissapointed in this item. The fish seemed to be pre-frozen fillets that did not taste good at all. For a $30.00 price tag I expected fresh fish and more than 3 not so big pre-frozen fillets,a bunch of lettuce and tomatoes between 2 pcs of rye. I think I will stick with the pastrami.......I added hot sauce and tarter sauce but stil...
Nobody does deli better than Harold's! The dining rooms are large, so there is plenty of room for distancing. The staff takes every measure to ensure customer safety. Friendly wait staff. My favorite is the pastrami. The sandwiches are gigantic. Piled high. Great variety of breads& pickles. Homemade coleslaw and healthy salad. We also had a knish which had creamy potatoes and hint of onions, made to perfection. The pieces of cake are the biggest I've ever seen. If you enjoy this type of food,you should definitely try Harold's. You will not be disappointed Handicap parking and entrance.
I live almost 300 miles away, was in the area for work and this place was recommended. Thought it was a quick sandwich shop with a deli. Wow was I suprised. The waiters wear vests and the service is fantastic. I could only eat half the meal and I have a great appetite. The homemade pickles were the best I ever had. I expected a basic sandwich with my coworker. Don't be fooled, you will not get out of there for less than $50 (lunch special for 2) but worth every penny. I would plan a weekend around a good meal here. Wonder what the dinner menu has to offer...
Its huge....portions are ridiculous. This place is great for a group of people bc each sandwiche serves about 100 people. The motza ball soup was very delicious. 2 of us ordered 1 pastrimi sandwich and 1 bowl of soup. We took home meals for 2 days. Its super expensive to think 1 sandwich 1 soup and 1 potatoe pancake was 130.00 but again we probably got enough food to feed 6 people. Good food, hugh portions...what could you not love about this place.

Harold 's not only has excellt food, one sandwich can feed three! When you first go and see the prices, you think 'yikes, expensive! ' But your sandwich will feed two or three. The staff is excellent, the food (especially the health salad) is absolutely to drool for! Excellent quality! The pastrami is excellent.
I wish we could have dined in. The menu looks amazing. We decided on the large pastrami sandwich. We later found out it comes with 10 slices of bread for a reason. Having said that, the pastrami tasted amazing. Although it is off the beaten path it is well worth the trip for takeout or outside seating.
Definitely a must visit! Stop here bring the whole family!! Get the hot pastrami, the onion rings were the best we’ve ever had. The service is attentive fantastic the carrot cake unreal delicious. A true NY deli experience without having to go into the city you’ll leave with another meal for later!
Food was amazing! The service was incredible! Food came quick and hot. They take social distancing very seriously and had someone cleaning all surfaces. Can't wait to go back!

Even during COVID the meal was fantastic. They did do things a little different to keep us (the customer) safe.
Doesn't disappoint! Delicious pastrami you get what you pay for. Not necessary a value but great meal.
