Travelling home we came across this restaurant as we went the wrong way at a junction and were looking for a u turn. Went in for lunch. Place was spotless and well decorated It was a Monday and the sign said fish and chips only on the door on that day. We ordered 2 senior specials for 10.99 each, although there are other offers on the board outside. This consisted of a small fish, (Good job it wasn't the jumbo alternative , beautifully fried,crispy and dry,an excellent generous portion of chips and a small side salad and their homemade tartare sauce. We called in here for lunch, the first thing that struck us was how cold the place was, granted they had only been open for an hour, after moving around tables we found the one that was the warmest. After perusing the menu the first thing that struck me was the prices, not cheap for a road side cafe. The worst was £3.50 for a cup of coffee which is just a rip off. The food I have got to say is good and freshly cooked, my wife had the fish which she said was very good, I had a burger which was average bit tasteless if anything. Service was very good and the staff friendly. Don't think we will be back, cant get over the price of the coffee !!!!!
We found the restaurant by driving past and returning in the evening. It was easy to park and get a table although there was a queue for takeaway which was a good sign. The menu was quite extensive but having read the reviews we went straight for cod and chips which came with a small salad garnish and tartare sauce. The menu told us it was cooked in beef dripping and it brought back some great memories. We could not fault it and ate every last bit. We will certainly be back if we come this way again.
Visited early evening on Thursday plenty of room in the car park and restaurant. Greeted by a friendly and efficient young lady. Somewhat unusual food choice; fish and chips and pizza on the menu. My wife and daughter both had pizza which the really enjoyed My grandson had chicken nuggets and chips which he was happy with as they were home made My daughter’s partner and I had Adams Special Fish and chips. The fish (haddock) was very nice quality and tasty and cooked to perfection

We had a family meal at this restaurant and really enjoyed everything . The menu is varied with pizza, fish and chips, and lots more too. Three of us chose the pizzas which were huge and so tasty. The Adam's fish and chips went down very well too. Very reasonable prices and great portion sizes too. Will definitely go again
I was taken here by my friend I was visiting, and what a great place it is. The staff were friendly and chatty, so helpful. The fish and chips were really lovely and plenty of it, which were served hot, fresh and tasty.
Got 2 large fish and chips. Absolutely delicious, good portion. Also got the kids chicken bites meal, again delicious (had to try a chicken bite! . Friendly staff, quick service. Defiantly will be returning
Hey what more do yyou want. A chippy who offers pizzas, fish ans chips and burgers of amright quality. Far better than a lot of places that I know in Liverpool

We dined here with our 3 children, the meals were delicious, reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.
