I absolutely adore this place! I recently moved to town and have been on the hunt for a sushi spot to become my go-to... and I've found it. The food is incredibly tasty and unique, with creative twists that set it apart from your average sushi rolls (we tried the Screaming O, Paradise, BSBC, and the premier sashimi special). While it may be a bit on the pricey side, the portion sizes are generous. And I can't forget to mention our server Veronica, who was fantastic. She was attentive and had great recommendations. Don't let the hole-in-the-wall appearance deter you; once inside, it's clean and has a wonderful character. We will definitely be returning! :0)
I had a pleasant experience with the waitstaff during my meal at this restaurant, but unfortunately, I later discovered that my credit card had been charged more than I had expected. When I approached the manager about the discrepancy, they promptly refunded me the difference but did so in a hostile manner, advising me not to return. As a result of this incident, I do not plan on dining at this establishment again. I recommend being vigilant about checking your credit card charges when dining here. Heavily overpriced specialty rolls. The waiter tried to upsell with very poor knowledge of fish lying or misinformed).Owner? Manager? was very loud and entoxicated as well as speaking very inappropriately/unprofessional.The fish quality was good, the roll quality was alright, and the area was clean. Spacious environment.Selection is overpriced. IE I have had *exquisite* omakase that cost way less. Expensive DOES NOT mean better. We were definitely ripped off.Experience was unfortunate as we were hoping this would be a regular spot based on other reviews.
I absolutely adored this restaurant. It was the cleanest sushi I have ever had in Phoenix. We tried the high roller sashimi and it was absolutely worth it. We definitely plan to return. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for a dinner setting. The price per person ranged from $30 to $50. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5.
The happy hour specials at this restaurant were fantastic, especially since they were available all day on a Monday! I ordered the Vegas roll and blue fin tuna sashimi, while my wife enjoyed the house salad. The food was not extremely unique, but it satisfied our sushi cravings. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.
My family and I went to Haru for lunch. It was our first time there and we will definitely be returning. The restaurant is clean and has a relaxed and cool atmosphere. The service was excellent. Everything we ordered from the menu was delicious, high quality, and reasonably priced. We are excited for our next visit.
This place is amazing! The fish is consistently fresh, and I always enjoy coming here for my uni fix. Chef Nick is always friendly and offers excellent recommendations. The staff is fantastic as well. I've noticed that there are many regular customers here. While it may be a bit pricey, it is definitely worth it.
Went after reading some reviews. The sashimi and rolls were very good. We tried the Blue Fin Crackers as something new to us and enjoyed them very much, had a few other rolls as well. With different fish choices it's good to check what's on the list each month. We will go back to try more.Food: 5/5
