Far and away the best, most consistently outstanding sushi place in the area. We lived here for years, and visited Haru almost weekly, and just came back after 4 years away, and it seems to have only gotten better.Amazing selection, artistic preparation. The A5 Waygu sashimi was melt in the mouth, the Toro Tartare appetizer was exceptional. We shared an Omakase selection of sushi/sashimi that forced us to be quiet and slow down just to savor every piece.Brian and Knox are absolute artists that bring a level of excellence to sushi in Melbourne that is unmatched.
Not the same Haru of a year ago. Haven’t been there in awhile. Four of us went that used to go frequently. Quality of food significantly declined. Thai Thai is much better food at a much better price. Won’t be back
Excellent sushi. Worth a visit and is walking distance from the Hilton Double Tree. The toro sashimi specials were good and the Casanova roll was exceptional. The tuna and avocado appetizer was good too.

expensive prices and very small rolls. And it’s not like they were small and delicious. They were small and average. It felt like groceries store sushi for five times the price.
It is simply the best restaurant on the beach.There is no other way to play it. The service is outstanding and the food quality is even better
