We had a tasty, delicious dinner. You can choose from a really rich menu, the meat is just amazing. I loved the salad bar idea, even I got lot of food on my plate so I wasn't really able to enjoy all the choice available at the salad bar : the cheesecake was delicious. And overall the bill was not that expensive. Also, people working here are simply the best, really really kind and always smiling. We really enjoyed our dinner here! That evening was quite cold outside, I can't wait to come to Durley Inn again in summer, to enjoy good food and sunny weather!
I rated this 5 stars 3 years ago. I visited 17th June and sat outside. Unfortunately food was a let down, it was delivered warm, looking like left on the hot counter to long, also no cutlery was given, had to find someone to get some, food went tepid by the time we got some. Staff who were assigned outside looked like they really didn't want to be there. Build looking very tired, we sat near rotting Wood. I really don't giving bad reviews, however for the cost of the meal it should of been much better.
We used to go to the Durley Dean Harvester every week, but we stopped after they changed the menu and we couldn't find what we wanted. I'm happy to report that things have significantly improved since our last visit. Although there have been many staff changes, the service was efficient and quick. We visited with a 50% VIP deal and hope that Harvester will soon join the Tastecard scheme, as many other chains have recently. If that happens, we might consider returning for weekly visits again.
Cheerful and simple. That’s what you want for a quick meal sometimes. They accommodated all our requests. Satisfied customer here. We arrived to find that the menu was limited because they were out of gas for cooking. We traveled quite a distance on the hottest day of the year, only to face a nightmare with parking. It was disappointing to be informed of these issues upon arrival. They shouldn't have taken online reservations if they were aware of the problem!
this building was designed for the view with many window seats along a huge curved glass wall and also a huge outside seats for the summer. it is a great place for lunch or dinner. it is recommended to book in advance to get the best places as this is a very busy restaurant in summertimes. great service and good prices.
We often go for a stroll along the beachfront and on very sunny days it’s nice to stop in at the harvester for some nice food to round off the day.
