Although it was a Saturday and Easter weekend, at 3pm the restaurant was not very busy. Despite this, our table was reserved downstairs near a family with 3 or 4 children who were being very loud. Additionally, even though it was warmer than expected, the air conditioning was turned on right next to us without asking for our preference. In my opinion, there should be a designated family area and customers should be consulted before major changes like the air conditioning being turned on.
Had a brilliant birthday meal here. We used to go to a different Harvester in the area but it had gone downhill so we thought we would try the horse groom. Service is brilliant. Had a wonderful Waitress Teresa, very polite and made our evening even more enjoyable. We had a toddler with us and Teresa was brilliant with her. Would highly recommend this harvester. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. However, the overall cleanliness and presentation of the salad area were lacking, which was disappointing. Despite the lack of excuses, as the restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of staff available. This wouldn't deter me from returning to dine again.
Such lovely food, reasonable price and nice staff. Theresa has always been very kind and patient with us and our girls. They always want to come back here for our special occasions. Food was good, service was excellent. General Tidins and presentation around the salad area was very bad. That left the place. There was no excuse because the place was very quiet and a lot of staff around. That wouldn't stop me eating back
I visited this place a few years ago and had a terrible experience. However, I went back last week and was pleased to see that it has greatly improved. It's now a nice family restaurant offering great value. I would definitely recommend it!
