I asked Amanda if there were any specials, and she responded rudely, mocking me with, “Have you ever been here before?” It felt like she was implying I had no right to ask about sales. I’ve actually visited several times to buy some of my favorite rare beers, but Amanda seemed to see me as an outsider who didn’t belong in the upscale Hawthorne Bottle Shop. I browsed the beer and wine section and found a four-pack of beer that was marked as “$8 off.” I joked with Amanda about her not mentioning the deal after I brought it to her. I asked if it was a buy-three-get-one-free offer, and she condescendingly corrected me, saying it was supposed to say "tax" and that the text was too small for her...
This place came highly recommended to us from a stranger in a bar. So glad we listened. Such an incredible selection of beer not only on tap, but also in cans and bottles. If we’re ever visiting the area again, we’ll be back! Cozy place to hang out and chat with friends. Super disappointed that the prices on the website for wine are not accurate. I spent $26 on two glasses of wine and the website said $8 per glass. We also ordered a cheese tray with meat we received a cheese tray with crumbles. Nothing special . Price per person: $30–50
The restaurant is a unique spot that offers a selection of craft beers and sandwiches. You have the option to sample the beers before making a decision, which is nice. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Downtown St. Pete. The staff is friendly, and the owners are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. They offer a fantastic selection of craft beer, wine, and sparkling drinks, all in a stylish and unique atmosphere. It’s always a great experience here!
This is a fantastic place to enjoy a pint of beer or a carefully selected glass of wine. The owners truly take pride in their establishment, and that is evident in the meticulous attention to detail throughout HBS Clubhouse.
