It’s 82 degrees outside on a sunny late April Saturday. We’ve been through a lot of cold and rainy weather and today was a beautiful day to dine outside. This was our very first visit to Hawthorne Backyard BBQ. We went in the afternoon because we thought they would be packed tonight.When we entered he building, the dining room was empty and the bar was crowded. I thought “maybe it’s not as nice as I had imagined”. Suddenly a nice gentleman asked if we were looking for outdoor dining, and then led us to the backyard. We saw the tables were nearly full and the clientele and staff were all smiling.Luckily, they did have a table for us. All the tables are shaded with umbrellas. We are not drinke...
We had our wedding at hawthornes and it was such a fun and beautiful experience. Heidi was so attentive to my guest and most importantly my dog. She made sure everything was taken off our hands and helped make sure it was a stress free day. She took such good care of us and made sure we had the chance to eat and drink while we were busy greeting our guest. The food was outstanding and I will definitely come back to host future events. Thank you so much guys! I wish I could give you more stars.
A very rustic building, inside and out. Terrific atmosphere and very competent staff. I really liked the menu, unfortunately I was not very hungry, but I did get a couple of burger sliders, and thought they were very good. I almost forgot their best feature, a spacious backyard with firepits, and room for volleyball, bags, horseshoes,etc. One of my favorites.
We kind of stumbled into Hawthorne's on accident. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the food was quite good for a sports/dive bar, prices were reasonable, and the bathrooms hilarious. Overall we were pleasantly surprised and in addition to already planning on going back, would definitely recommend to a friend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
